The Vocabulary Builder series

Word Power teaches the core skills: how words are built, how to work out a new word from its clues, and how to choose the right one. The five themed books then put those skills to work on the vocabulary of a real topic, through reading passages, word families, puzzles and writing tasks. Every book has answers and a full glossary at the back.

A six-book series for children aged 7 to 11 (KS2) and beyond. Each book can be used on its own, at home or in class, and suits children preparing for 7+, 8+, 11+ and ISEB entrance tests as well as those who simply want to read and write with more confidence.
